Why Us

With 60-years tradition and experience, we manufacture only cold pressed oils through chekku/Ghani. We follow an equilateral triangle policy. We give equal emphasis on Tradition, Quality, and Price . To elaborate more, each factor plays a vital role in our final product. We maintain tradition through following cold pressed methods that involve rotary crushing of seeds without preheating, the seeds are sun dried to remove moisture. The output oil is mechanically filtered and packed. This ensures no nutrients are lost and no additional chemicals or preservatives are added for the sake of maintaining the Quality. Quality at Bhuvanaeswari starts from procurement of oil seeds . We follow strict protocols and blending of indigenous seeds from various regions results in a unique taste to our products. Unlike other cold pressed oils our company's products are sold at affordable prices for consumers. This is achievable due to a strong network of seed markets all over India and high demand for residues of our oil i.e oil cakes.

Filtered Oil Vs Refined Oil

Filtered Oil

1. Filtered oils are the oils filtered through filters made of cotton cloth to remove the solid particles from the oil but no chemicals are used in the process.
2. Filtered oils are unprocessed, hence have a higher value of nutrients in them.

Refined Oil

1. Refined oils are generally treated with chemicals to further rid the oil from impurities, flavor and give it a more clear appearance.
2. Refined oils are devoid of beta carotene, Vitamin E and minerals or VItamins are artificially added.

Cold Pressed Vs Hot Pressed Oil

Cold Pressed

1. Oil is extracted at low temperature and the acid value is relatively low, so oil products are obtained after precipitation and filtration. This means that there is no need for any refinement.
2. Cold pressed oil retains most of its natural physiological and chemical properties and most importantly its original taste.
3. All beneficial compounds are retained.

Hot Pressed Oil

1. Hot pressing involves extracting oil at high temperatures, and because the acid value rises significantly, it loses most of its natural quality. Therefore hot pressed oils are refined to make them fit for consumption.
2. The high temperatures may change the chemical structure of oil and a lot of important substances like vitamin E, sterols, and carotenoids. It may also reduce the shelf life.
3. A Lot of healthy compounds may be lost from the oils while hot pressing.
